Kaitlyn Briggs is an experienced dairy veterinarian, with an MBA focused on sustainability, who has a passion for progress toward sustainability in the dairy industry, especially focusing on animal health as the foundation for sustainable dairy. After several years in private dairy practice in Michigan, she joined DMI. As the director of the environmental research team, she focuses on on-farm environmental impact measurement and how herd health is intimately linked with sustainability. Kaitlyn is passionate about continuing to find win-win opportunities for producers that enable dairy to stay at the forefront of sustainable nutrition and keep One Health top of mind in sustainability conversations including those on her own dairy with her husband in northern New York.
