Dr. Nan Qin is the Director of Research and Development at Natural Immunogenics Corp (NIC), the largest nano-silver dietary supplement manufacturer in North America. She plays a key role in shaping NIC’s research strategy. She leads a team of scientists and engineers developing new therapeutics using the cutting-edge hydrosol technology. She oversees pre-clinical, toxicological and biocompatibility studies of a wide array of products including medical device, dietary supplements, OTC drugs, and personal care products. She created multiple successful university collaboration projects aiming to advance the understanding and expand the application of the nano-silver as an alternative treatment to combat drug resistant microbials.

Nan began her career in renewable energy, applying her nanomaterials and polymer chemistry background in advancing technologies in hydrogen storage, fuel cells, electric vehicles, and flow batteries. Prior to joining Natural Immunogenics, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida - FSEC. She served as Principal Investigator in several government and private sector funded projects. She is a firm believer of improving the world with technology, whether it is to solve the energy crisis, or public health crisis. 

Dr. Qin obtained her Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Syracuse University and SUNY - College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
