The Presidential Advisory Council on Combatting Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (PACCARB) has released its 2024 report with recommendations, "A United Front: Collaborative Global Leadership to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance". The report was developed in advance of the United Nations General Assembly high-level meeting on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and was voted on and unanimously approved at the May 2024 PACCARB meeting. The report provides recommendations to the US Government on leadership considerations for the US related to global engagement on this topic. Several NIAMRRE advisory council and leadership council members, as well as its operations center staff serve on PACCARB and were involved in drafting and approving the report.
