NIAMRRE is excited to be holding our fourth annual (third in-person) conference, hosted by The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Bringing together professionals within academia, industry, and government from across the One Health spectrum (plants, animals, humans, and the environment), we will work together in "Bridging the Gaps in AMR". 

With a mix of presentations, panels, facilitated discussions, workshops, and informal gatherings, you will leave this conference with new connections and actionable steps we can take together to combat antimicrobial resistance.

Meet Our Keynote Speakers

Dr. Scott Weese is a veterinary internist and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He is a Professor at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Director of the University of Guelph Centre for Public Health and Zoonoses, and Chief of Infection Control at the Ontario Veterinary College Teaching Hospital. He will lead a keynote presentation titled Global Efforts to Address AMR.

 

Dr. Rosie Busch is a Sheep and Goat Specialist in Cooperative Extension at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Her focus is on applied research in small ruminant health and disease mitigation with a focus on metabolic and infectious diseases that impact maternal production longevity and youngstock survivability. She will lead a keynote presentation titled Reflections on OTC to Rx during the conference
