The National Institute of Antimicrobial Resistance Research and Education (NIAMRRE), a member organization that drives cross-sector engagement and coordinated action to combat the global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), is pleased to announce Innoceleris as a new startup industry member.

“One Health is about achieving the best health for people, animals, and our shared environment—we are all connected,” said Paul Plummer, the executive director of NIAMRRE. “Innoceleris provides diagnostic tools that facilitate the detection, identification, and characterization of infectious agents affecting the livestock industry. Collaboration is one of our four focus areas, and improving diagnostic capabilities enables practitioners and producers to partner to make better-informed decisions about managing and treating disease outbreaks.”

Innoceleris joins NIAMRRE’s ten academic member institutions including Iowa State University, Kansas State University, North Carolina State University, The Ohio State University, UC Davis Veterinary Medicine, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Iowa, University of Nebraska at Lincoln; three affiliate members: Farm Foundation, and RTI International, and University of Iowa State Hygienic Laboratory; and three startup industry members: Distynct, FBB Biomed, and Sublime Stericeuticals.

Membership is available to academic, industry (commodity groups, pharma and health organizations, and retailers), affiliate (government agencies, nonprofits, and member associations), and startup stakeholders interested in cross-sector engagement to address global AMR challenges. Applications are accepted year-round for organizations dedicated to advancing the One Health approach—a collaborative methodology to achieve optimal health outcomes between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment.
